Monterey Clam Chowder
In search for the best clam chowder in Monterey.
I’m a big fan of clam chowder, I’m not sure if you like or love this coastal dish but it is delicious! While in Monterey (California) last weekend, Peter and I were in search for this tasty dish. FYI, there are so many to choose from.
Walking along Fisherman’s Wharf meant that restaurant greeters were in full force. Tempting us with small morsels and tasty treats to lure us into their restaurant. Every restaurant on the wharf serves this rich coastal soup which made selecting one a difficult decision to make. We ended up at a fancy little restaurant called Old Fisherman’s Grotto. This was exactly what we were looking for and they didn’t disappoint (we also researched online, of course). The chowder was delicious! I ordered the original chowder in a bread bowl, I know very unhealthy but so good, and Peter ordered a bowl which came in a huge clam shell.
The best clam chowder in Monterey is from Old Fisherman’s Grotto.
We took these photos on the wharf right before dinner away from the main touristy path.
Spring Ankle Strap Heels
Spring is here and pretty spring clothes are everywhere. Now it’s time to start daydreaming about pretty picnics, gardens in bloom and other cute spring things. =)
I’ve shared with you a pair of pointy toe flats that I will be wearing this spring but now let’s turn our attention to spring heels. More specifically ankle strap heels. These bright navy, blue and green heels make my spring just a little more fun.
I’m currently in Palo Alto taking in the city in all its tech glory. Hi Facebook.
