3 Stylish Casual Friday Fall Outfits

A Stylish Way To Do Casual Friday & Adding Fall Color
No matter the season, casual Fridays at the office are always something that we need to consider. What changes for those work outfits season to season are the colors, fabrics and layers.
Now that Fall has arrived in California it’s time to bring the gorgeous colors of the season into your office attire. Be it for casual Friday’s or your weekday professional wear, adding a bit of mustard yellow, emerald green, or burgundy can really enhance your work outfits.
For casual friday outfits, the first thing you need is a really nice pair of perfect fitting jeans. This may vary where you work location but I would advise a dark wash, fitted, ankle length pair of jeans. Ankle length because you have a chance to show off your shoes. Stay away from distressed, acid washed, boyfriend, or anything that looks like you are too early for the weekend. The jeans are the causal part of casual Friday outfit, the rest of the outfit is a toned downed version of your Monday thru Thur outfits.
In this outfit, I selected a pair of darker wash denim from The Limited with a nice zipper accent. The zipper distinguishes the jeans from the ordinary and makes it a little more personal. If you want your jeans to have a nice detail, I would suggest something subtle but still stylish.
Next is the blouse. You don’t have to wear a button down with your jeans, even though that would look pretty sleek. Instead, you could wear a thin sweater, sleeveless blouse or 3/4’s sleeve silk blouse in the seasonal color of your choice.
For example, in these outfits I selected three lovely Fall colors to incorporate into my casual Friday looks. With or without the black blazer this outfit is stylish and casual but still appropriate for the office.
Third are the accessories. If you’re looking for a necklace and earrings that work with various colors I would go for a nice emerald green. This colors look gorgeous on every skin tone and works well with other Fall colors. I wore these emerald green stud earrings for all the outfits and added a matching necklace on the two shirts without the decorative neckline.
Lastly are the shoes. Leopard shoes are a nice way to add pattern to a casual look. You can either go with leopard flats or heels, either are a great choice. If you do select the flat over a pair of heels; go with a loafer style (tassels are based on personal choice) because they’re a little more professional than say ballet flat.

The Limited
The Limited recently opened their first outlet store in the great mall in Milpitas, CA. This means that you can get the same clothes offered in their regular department store for a portion of the price. Sometimes up to 50% or more!
The jeans, mustard sweater, burgundy blouse, green top, emerald stud earrings, and necklace came out to a grand total of $140! These pieces are going to be on my regular office outfit rotation this Fall. If you are in the Bay Area, I highly suggest you check it out. The store has tons of gorgeous clothing for Fall and the holiday season.
The other great new fact about The Limited is that they now carry petite and tall at their stores and online. That’s great news for petite gals like me because professional, stylish, and affordable office attire can be hard to find.

You do the casual Friday look so well – I especially love that you wear a pair of fun printed heels! I tend to wear a variation of the same, except maybe try and get away with a slightly shorter hemline! 😉

Honestly, Fridays are almost never casual for me as I’m always going out after work. Generally I wear nice dresses or something I can pair heels with to be a bit sexier after 5.
