Spring Pointy Toe Flats
Spring Pointy Toe Shoe Trend
Spring is displaying its beautiful colors and gorgeous blue skies. The Gorgeous weather is upon us. I’m giddy for midi pastel skirts, brightly colored a-line dresses and floral printed shorts!
To continue my spring series I’m focusing on some key items that are spring wardrobe essentials.
First, the spring pouch handbag and today the pointy toe flat. These styles are popular every year. You’ll find them decorated with embellishments, covered with patterns or a solid. It’s the shape that comes around every year but they’re especially popular this year.
Besides being comfortable they’re effortlessly chic. The pointy toe gives your outfit that extra bit of style edge as opposed to a round toe. The structure looks good in leopard print, navy stripes or polka dots. There are hundreds of options available this year! Find the perfect one to fit your style.
How to Wear Blue on Blue on Blue
This blue on blue on blue outfit was no accident. Aware of the fact that I spending the day walking along the California coast and enjoying the sea breeze made me reach for my cool blues.
To balance the slightly over-sized feel of the flowy draped cut out top I paired it with tight denim shorts. I really can’t get enough of this top, it’s deep V, open back and cut out sides making it the perfect counterpart for a California cool look. The blue polka dot flats finished off the blue top and shorts. The blue tones in the flats matched the blues in the outfit thus tying the whole look together.
If you’re going to wear an outfit in the same color family make sure you use different shades. Have one blue outfit piece be lighter or darker than the other will give it nice dimension.
Have you found your perfect pair of pointy toe flats?
PS: What do you think of the super draped top?
