How To Style Sneakers This Spring & Summer – “Professional Look”

How to Wear Sneakers to the Office

Do you think professional attire and sneakers mix? I still haven’t made up my mind about it but I thought I’d give it a try.

Here is part II, of what to wear with sneakers. In case you missed it, check out part I – How To Style Sneakers This Spring & Summer – Casual Outfit.

The frilly pleated skirt and the sporty sneakers make for an interesting contrast. I didn’t want the look be too overdressed or too “professional” as I wanted the outfit to be balanced. Depending on where you work, this look may or may not be appropriate, so adjust as you see fit. I’m owner and President of a creative digital agency, so our dress policies are a little less stringent.

When wearing sneakers with professional gear, I prefer to wear them with a skirt rather than trousers. This is because I would look even shorter and second, I don’t have trousers that would be the appropriate length when paired with sneakers. If the trousers were cropped that would be a different story. I think this look would be equally nice with a pair of black cropped skinny trousers.

How about you? Have you tried mixing professional attire and sneakers?

Stay Stylish,

PS: What do you think of my hair? My hair looks very full in the third photo. I’m think I might keep the large side part.
