Robert Mondavi Winery – A Relaxing Experience
In Napa Valley, there are many places to appreciate a delicious glass of wine at the counter. There are also plenty of places to enjoy wine tasting outside enjoying the view.
Robert Mondavi Winery offers two separate outdoor seating areas in the winery. This Napa Valley winery is one of my favorite locations for this very reason. Standing at a counter can be tiring and for some individuals difficult depending on how many tastings you’ve had. So getting the option to sit down and relax is a treat.
At this winery, you can enjoy your wine at your pace. There are other wineries where you feel like you’re getting rushed out to make room for another but not here. Once you arrive you select the tour or tasting you would like to do. Select the wines and then take them to a table where we can sit and taste the wines at our pace. If there is one we particularly like we can also purchase a glass.
Robert Mondavi Winery was the first winery we stopped at in our wine tasting tour. We wanted to take our friend to a gorgeous place that he would remember and, of course, share an impressive picture on Facebook. With its mission style building and an expansive courtyard, this winery provides plenty of photo opportunities.
Depending on what you have planned for the day Robert Mondavi provides plenty of options when it comes to tastings and tours. Since we wanted to visit many locations we opted for the basic wine tasting. But if you do have more time in your day they offer tours, cellar tastings, twilight tours, cheese and wine pairings and so much more.
We often purchase and drink this wine at home so a visit to where it’s made was a must!
