Short Infinity Dress
I love when I’m able to wear a piece multiple ways. Like a dress as a skirt or a dress as a shirt. So I was very excited when I received the Infinity Dress from Tart Collections!!
You may also have heard this dress called the “convertible dress.” The dress lives up to its name, you can wear it many ways; halter, capped sleeve, cross back, strapless, front twist, draped, one shoulder, well… you get the point. The infinity dress also come in a variety of colors and lengths. This length and color was my favorite out of the options. The color goes great with my skin tone for winter or summer. The length of the dress is appropriate for various occasions this is the reason I went with something shorter instead of longer. Long dresses have a more formal feel and they can at times be difficult to transition to fall and winter.
In this outfit post, I am wearing the infinity dress in my favorite way, capped sleeve with crossed back. I love how the front and back of this dress look with the small sleeves because of the beautiful crosses and the twists. Getting the dress to look like this did take a little bit of practice. I tried about 4 times to get it right and made sure it was one tight because the first few times the sleeves were slipping off. You can check out Tart’s website for all the ways you can wear this dress, they also have a video which really helps.
Pairing this dress with gold jewelry and beige pumps truly keeps the dress the focal point of the outfit. The parasailing (tealish) color of the dress stands out against my favorite Michael Kors trench coat.
How would you style an infinity dress? Let me know in the comments =)
