There’s no denying the comfort of sneakers and how trendy they are this year. From the unexpected contrasting outfits to the casual everyday looks, sneakers are a staple that need to be in your wardrobe this summer. Even if it’s paired with the usual suspect – workout gear this trendy shoe will add a pep to your step, literally.

Here are three different outfits you can use to kick off your summer sneaker style.

Denim on Denim
Want an easy way to wear denim on denim? Selecting different denim washes. In the first sneaker outfit I wore a cropped light wash blue denim jacket and jet black cropped denim jeans. I added some stripes for interest, accessorized with a pair of aviators and the outfit was complete.

Button Down and Ruffled Skirt
If you’re planning on taking your sneakers to the office then make sure the bottom half of your outfit coordinates with the sneakers. You wouldn’t want to wear trousers that are too long to be paired with sneakers. My quick tip: Pair your sneakers with your favorite office skirt. Depending on where your work this outfit may or may not be appropriate so adjust accordingly.

If you want a cute and flirty look to pair with your new kicks try a fitted sporty skater dress. This combination is the perfect match to keep it fun and summery.
