What to Wear for New Year’s Eve

The new year is just around the corner and with it comes new year planning, preparation and resolutions. I’m especially looking forward to 2014 and I can’t wait for the year to begin! I always feel like the new year offers new beginnings, a fresh start and an opportunity for a new outlook. Many things await me next year, my boyfriend is calling it the year of the “Big Bang.” We have so many wonderful things scheduled and are itching to start.

This is not the outfit I will be wearing on New Years but let it serve as inspiration as I still don’t know exactly what I’m going to wear. I wanted to share this outfit with you because it would be a perfect outfit for New Year’s Eve. A little bit sexy, a little bit dressy with a little bit of sparkle. The perfect balance of dressy and classic sophistication. Whether you’re welcoming the new year with an intimate dinner with your significant other or partying the night away with your best friends there is no better time to wear sequins.

My mother always told me to wear something new for New Years Eve so you’ll be destined for new clothes in the coming new year and wear red underwear so you will have love all year long. I still do this! In fact, I’m getting a new pair of heels delivered on Monday that I plan to wear on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. I have the shoes, but not sure about the clothes yet.
