Solage Calistoga – Napa Valley Resort
Located in the charming little town of, well, Calistoga. Solage Calistoga Resort & Spa is a gorgeous resort just on the outskirts of Calistoga and provides you with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, greenery, and vineyards.
Solage has a unique mix casual and luxurious vibes. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a friendly staff member that checked us in. We didn’t even have to get out of the car. The attendant hopped on a bike and directed us to follow him. He peddled his way to our room.
Solage Resort is on 25 acres, and the guest rooms are in individual buildings throughout the property.
Our room had vaulted ceilings, stone shower and separate tub, fireplace, and huge glass doors that lead to a private outdoor patio. It is absolutely stunning and kind of feels like a little apartment that you never want to leave.
Each guest room comes with complimentary bikes that you can use to get around the property and explore the area. The first thing Peter and I did after we checked in was jump on the bikes and see everything that Solage had to offer.
Solage Resort has an ecologically conscious spa on the property with a bathhouse and mud bar. They offer a variety of services to relax, restore and calm.
The resort is home to Solbar, a Michelin star restaurant that offers organic farm-to-table options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Solbar’s outdoor patio is a refreshing open air dining experience with fireplaces, comfortable seating, and view into the Solage pool.
One convenient amenity that Solage offers its guests is a Mercedes Benz. Yes, didn’t bring a car, no problem. Solage has a small fleet of Mercedes on property available on a first come first serve basis. Hop in and tour the town in style.
Along with complimentary fitness classes and nightly turndown service, 130-foot adult only pool, and bocce ball courts, Solage Calistoga offers you an escape from daily life.
Calistoga is on the northern end of Napa Valley. This small western town is located at the base of Mount Saint Helena and with a population of about 5,000 it still has that 1800’s feel.
Calistoga is known for its luxurious spas, but they also have incredible hillside vineyards that are worth a visit. One of the most famous vineyards in the area is Castello di Amorosa. Castello di Amorosa an authentic 13th century Tuscan castle and winery.
Solage Calistoga is also on the Silverado Trail so you have a plethora of delicious wines available to you just within a few minutes drive.
