Fall Outfit Series – Riding Boots
What to Wear With Riding Boots
The weather is finally getting cooler and I can start wearing transition outfits. I know transition weather has passed for many of us but where I live it’s still fluctuating within the 70 – 80 degrees with chilly mornings. Continuing on my fall outfit series, today I’m sharing with you a riding boots outfit. If you missed my first fall outfit, take a look – I wore an embellished pair of ankle booties.
What you wear with riding boots greatly depends on the style and color of the boots themselves. These type of flat boots are available in a variety of colors, textures and styles. The riding boots I’m wearing in this outfit are very biker chic – they have a bad ass motorcycle feel. I wanted to balance the attitude of the boots with something softer on the top half so I went with a knitted burgundy sweater and a large soft gray beanie. This beanie is actually borrowed from the boys, I bought it for my boyfriend last year at Gap, the exact one is not available anymore but I found a similar beanie from Mac Jacobs.
Since the bottom half of this outfit is very slim fitting I was able to wear a looser top. The overall feel of the look is the perfect balance between form-fitting and relaxed achieving the exact outfit I was going for.
I would love to know what you think! I look forward to reading your comments!
Those boots are a knock out! Loving this fall look, great inspiration.
Where did you get your black riding boots? I love them and want a pair!!!
Where did you get your boots!?!??!
I have actually puhcarsed 3 pairs of boots. I have never owned boots previously (due to the calf constraints). But now that I have lost the weight, I am able to enjoy most boots. I did get a pair of grey (fake) Uggs. I also puhcarsed a grey/brown knee boot. And some grey/purple plaid short boots.I am in love with flat boots, which I feel really hit it big this year.
What is the brand of these boots?
They are from Not Rated – you can find them here http://www.heels.com/shoe-brand/not-rated
I looked up there last time. But unfortunately, the only ones I found there was these: http://www.heels.com/womens-shoes/oleander-black.html
I’m not sure what size you are but I find the same ones here but only in a 6 and 6.5 http://rstyle.me/~2CkOD
