How to Wear a Tunic Dress for a Summer Evening

Silver Sequin Tunic Dress Outfit

I’ve owned this sequined tunic dress for some time now and every now and again I want to bring it out for an evening look. It wasn’t until this weekend that I decided to wear it for a summer evening out.

You see, tunics can be a little tricky depending on the length. Tunics are on the shorter side, you will most likely always need leggings, shorts, or jeans to wear with it. But a tunic dress is a little different. Tunic dresses can be a little longer and may be worn, as the name suggests, as a dress. Also depending on your height they may or may not be the appropriate length.

I decided to keep the outfit very simplistic and went with neutral accessories seeing that the dress was embellished and sparkly enough. I wore a navy waist tie to accentuate my waist and not to lose my figure. I went with a navy color because it looks great against the silver. Simple strappy sandals and a black silver studded clutch. That completed my tunic dress outfit. You don’t need much for a summer evening outfit.
