All summer we had wanted to schedule a beautiful sunset photo shoot. Amazingly the evening that worked best happened to be the night of the Blue Moon! Lucky coincidence. Of course we had to stay long enough to capture the Blue Moon. The Blue Moon is defined as the second full moon in a calendar month. The first full moon was August 1st and the second full moon was August 31st the evening of our shoot.

I have had this skirt for quite some time now but this is my first time wearing it, mainly because every time I want to wear it I can’t find it (need to organize). Since the skirt is so bright and busy I decided to wear it with a simple gray tee the outfit looks simple and great for any day. Well not for the office I suppose.
