Spring Layering

I’ve worn lots of stripes this spring and I’ve shared three outfit posts with this popular trend so far; Spring Sneakers & Stripes, New Cropped Proportions, and Spring Stripes.

Today, I share with you another spring look incorporating stripes but this time the stripes are much larger and I kept the stripes as my base and layered on top of it.

If you want to wear stripes but have yet to try them, first consider wearing a single striped piece and mix and match with a few separates. In this outfit, I started off with a striped shirt, layering a chambray long sleeve top and added a tan blazer. You can try this if you don’t want the stripes be the first thing people see.

You can also, try this trend by wearing a striped accessory. With accessories you don’t have to worry about how it will look on you. It will also be easily transferable from outfit to outfit, like this navy striped tote. You’re probably going to see this tote again this spring and summer because I can easily take it to the beach or on a picnic. It’s in a neutral blue and white so it will go with plenty of outfits.

I would love to know how you’re wearing stripes! Let me know in the comments.

Stay Stylish,

Beautiful outfit, I really like the blue, white, and tan blazer thing. I like stripes, it’s a trend right now, but actually I prefer it on blue and white, way more than black and white…it makes me feel like it’s summer and I’m at the beach 🙂
