This was my outfit for our Christmas date. An oh so pretty lace scalloped dress with a pair of crystal earrings. Classy and romantic, yet stylish, because you always have to be stylish. As you might be able to tell from my recent posts like White Dress and Pearls, I’ve been making an effort to wear some looks that are a little out of my normal attire. Much like the red lipstick in Adding Some Color With Your Lipstick, this see through top is new to me. I really wanted to give it a try. But even after wearing it, I’m still not 100% comfortable with wearing see through tops. I really love how we can experiment with fashion through various looks and trends to discover what works for us.

All summer we had wanted to schedule a beautiful sunset photo shoot. Amazingly the evening that worked best happened to be the night of the Blue Moon! Lucky coincidence. Of course we had to stay long enough to capture the Blue Moon. The Blue Moon is defined as the second full moon in a calendar month. The first full moon was August 1st and the second full moon was August 31st the evening of our shoot.

Here is by far one of the most feminine outfits I’ve worn this summer. It combines florals, lace and crochet in one outfit. The complete opposite from my last post, Black and White Patterned Pants, where I was wearing mostly black. My grandmother gave me this outfit for my birthday last month and of course I want to wear it before summer was over.

Boat shoes and a lace skirt; two items I wouldn’t have thought to pair together before but somehow it works. The mix between the lace skirt and pearls balances the boat shoes and striped top. This is a chic casual summer look.
