Mixing Stripes and Print
When I first saw this shirt I thought, “wow, this is pretty bold, it’s striped, black and white and see through.” But this didn’t turn me off from styling it into an outfit. I knew exactly how I was going to wear it. I had bought a pair of subtle printed pants the week before and I knew the two prints would work together perfectly.
The pants in this pairing are neutral because of its subtle print and color. The top is the star of this outfit because of its bolder pattern. It’s important to remember, when mixing prints only one can be the star.
Since I wanted the top and the pants to be the main pieces in the outfit, the fishing touch was a neutral blazer with matching tan and black heels. I love this type of outfit because it allows me to show my personal style and is appropriate for the office.

Want to mix prints? Simply pair a neutral print with a busier one. This will allow one print to shine while the other supports it.
