Fedora Hat for Fall and Winter
Have you recently bought a fedora hat and you’re trying to figure out what to wear it with? Or have you had one for sometime you’re just finding the perfect place to wear it to?
Let me tell you there is no need to wait. When it gets chilly a wool or fur felt fedora hat is always a stylish choice. I’ve shared with you various outfits featuring a fedora hat, in different colors too. This time I decided to go with a darker hat.
I have a new found love for hats, especially fedora hats. Peter loves them too, while in Rome we bought a gorgeous gray fur felt hat. Fur felt hats are a little more costly than wool and they can’t get wet. A fact that’s important to take note of.
This forest green fedora hat is wool and the perfect hue for the Fall and Winter months. The darker green color matches well with burgundy, yellow, brown, other green hues, blues and dark grays. All of the colors you normally would wear for Fall and Winter.
In this outfit I decided to pair the fedora hat with a somewhat simple look. I went with a blazer in a light brown color and a thin sweater in a brighter blue. Gray moto jeans and flat brown boots are the darker neutrals in the look. I kept the color scheme balanced with darks and lights. As you can see the sweater and hat don’t overpower the other items but instead the entire outfit is very cohesive.
When putting together a similar look just think, “What colors match my hat and what style am I going for.”
If you’re wearing a burgundy fedora you could wear cream, black and white. Or burgundy, olive green, black and gray.
