Fall Outfit – Menswear Inspired Look
Fall is absolutely my favorite season. I know, I have been raving about it for the past couple of posts but this season just fills me up with joy. I can’t help it! I love the crisp mornings and the chilly night breezes. I can’t get enough of the golden leaves, fall smells, holidays and the fall outfits that go along with every occasion.
This time of year makes me want to curl up in a pile of knitted scarves and sweaters and drink hot apple cider or hot coco in a magical Yosemite log cabin. I’m off on a tangent now =).
But getting back to this post. Today, I share with you a menswear inspired fall outfit. Yes it’s subtle, but I’m gradually adapting this trend to fit my style. The white chiffon top in the outfit is the same one I wore in the A Black and White Wear to Work Outfit. This outfit is the opposite of the previous one. With this post I wanted to show variety and how you are able to adapt a feminine chiffon top fit a whole other look. A spring wear to work outfit versus a menswear inspired fall outfit.
I wore the lapel of the black blazer up so you would be able to see the small notches on the lapel, it’s just the perfect little touch. I borrowed my boyfriends black watch to add on the manly touches and topped it off with some chunky black ankle boots.
So what do you think? Did I achieve the perfect balance of masculine and feminine in this fall outfit? Let me know in the comments!
