How I Layer Jackets

Even though we are still having very nice weather here (such nice weather that I can wear a dress without tights) I am very eager to begin layering. So here I am wearing one of my favorite green jackets under a black blazer, you can see more detail in the jacket in this post. This jacket is a great piece to wear under a blazer because it is thin, so it is not uncomfortable or bulky. If I have a larger cargo jacket I would flip the combination, meaning I would wear the cargo over the blazer. I really don’t like my jackets to fit tight so when I am going to layer I try to wear thinner pieces underneath.

And in case you were wondering the blazer is from Theory and the jacket is from Ann Taylor Loft.
