The Neutral Printed Pant
You’ve probably seen the patterned pant trend everywhere this summer and it looks like it’s going to carry into fall as well.
Patterned prints wrapping your legs are the ultimate statement piece. There are many colors, prints, and shapes so it’s very important to figure out what works for your body. Whether you want to go with a bold, bright floral print or a muted ikat neutral print, the main reason you want try on different prints and colors is because these pants can make hips looks huge and I know that’s not what you want.
Here, I went with a subtle neutral pattern, so I could dip my toes in the patterned pant trend to see if it was for me. I kept it simple. I centered my outfit around the pants by wearing a neutral solid top and belt. The shoes are fun with the glitter straps and gold heels but even with these embellishments the attention is on the pants.

I’m not quite sold on the patterned pants, but I really like these! The fact that they are a little loose in the leg is great. I get a little nervous about the super skinnies with some wild pattern.

I am the same way, haven’t brought myself to wear super skinnies with a crazy bright pattern yet. Maybe I just haven’t found the right pair.

I LOVE the patterned pants that you chose! I just bought my first pair of patterned pants and am a little worried about wearing them, no idea why they are just not my usual style. I love these picutres, you look gorgeous as always.

Very cool pants, they are really fun. The pattern works on these pants because it’s black and white. I like coloured pant, but only if they are in solids. This is just the right balance of fun and sophistication.
