Jewel Toned Wear to Work Outfit

So far we covered bold patterned pants and subtle polka dot pattern, now lets talk about jewel toned colors to wear to work.

Jewel toned colors are universally flattering. Form fair skinned to dark skinned these vibrant hues make your skin tone glow. As much as I love these colors, I don’t have many pieces and I’ve been meaning to add more to my wardrobe but it’s a slow process.

I’ve owned this gorgeous silk blouse from some time now and I bring it out every time I want my work outfit to shine.

In this outfit, I stuck with three basic colors. The purplish jewel toned blouse, blue patterned pants with a blue handbag and black blazer and pumps. The black acts as the base of the look which lets the two colors (blue and purple/violet) really stand out.

When selecting a jewel toned color to wear to work, select your favorite color because you want a hue that you will feel fabulous in. Whether it’s emerald green or sapphire blue make sure you love your look. After all, you’re going to the office and you need to feel confident in the work place.

Have you worn jewel toned colors to the office?

Stay Stylish,
