So I want to share something about me, I’m an avid poker player.
No, I’m totally kidding. I play in a charity poker tournament once a year and throughout the entire game I pretty much don’t know what I’m doing. But I did get 3rd place one year. My boyfriend, being as supportive as he is, always tries to help me out and does his best to teach me the “rules of the game.” He shows me videos of the different hands and gets me to read articles such as Texas Hold’em for beginners. But every year is the same thing, “so, why do I play this game?” This year’s outcome wasn’t any different but I always have fun!

I can’t say I remember the last time I wore sneakers, I mostly wear flats and heels. I think I might only have one other pair of sneakers, which are converse, that I’ve had for years. This sneaker void brings me to search this spring for cute pairs of sneakers, shopping post to come.

I’ve come to embrace this season’s cropped top trend. I’m usually not the midriff-barring type but I couldn’t resist trying this trend and putting together an outfit that fit me.
It may be obvious from my looks that I take the minimalist approach to most trends. I feel it’s important to feel comfortable in what you’re wearing and to always make sure it reflects who you really are.
